Update on me

Hi, I know I haven't updated on me for a bit. I have been having a rash of testing done and wanted to wait to see if anything came of it.

I had a Gasteroscopy done last week. It came back negative. I had a Colonoscopy done today....it looked good. They will have all the results later this week or early next week. I did ask about Celiac Disease. They are testing me for it (it means I can't eat anything with Gluten). So far it looks like I don't have that either. I have pretty much stumped them. I am still losing weight (yeah) but it still hurts to eat and I still get nausea's a lot. On the whole I am feeling a little better. The pain isn't too bad unless I eat so I force myself to eat most days but in really small portions.

I had more steriod injections done in my back last Tuesday and something went wrong. I am not sure what yet but the pain has been awful and I am back to not sleeping at night. I will give it until Monday and call them back if things haven't improved.

I go in for a Gastric Feeding Study on Tuesday. That means they will feed me some eggs and then watch it go through my digestive trac. After this I have no idea. I don't meet with my Gastro. until the beginning of May.

So keep your fingers crossed that they figure this out. I am so tired from lack of food and I really don't care to have one more IV. I have so many lately and I am a hard stick. I have pin holes and bruises all up and down my arms. I am embarrassed to wear short sleeves. It looks so bad and I get pummled with questions.

So that's it in nutshell. I hope you all are having a good week. I will be quite absent for the most part next week. The kids are on vacation and we are praying for good weather so we can spend lots of time at the park.
