Swingsets and Chicken Alleriges.....

Not bad for free 'eh? I don't think so, nor do the kids. They have been on it non-stop. They are even rushing to get ready in the morning so they can get a swing in before school. We have more kids than usual in the yard in the afternoons now too. Good thing we didn't take the tower. I don't know where we would have fit it in. Now we just need some mulch....and some grass to grow. In case you have missed my many plugs on this FREE swingset, I got it on FreeCycle. Seriously, check it out in your area. I got a really nice leather computer chair that I brought to work. I got rid of some Hosta's that I was willing to die and wouldn't, I just got some really cool kitchen cabinets and an awesome base cabinet for FREE for my newly designed scrapbook room. I even can grab a free blue 6ft counter top if I want it too. I have wanted to redo my scrapbook area for a long time now. We just couldn't afford it. Now, I can redo it for virtually nothing. A can of paint to paint the cabinets and some nails and screws. Pretty cool. I just need 3 more base cabinets and some counter top and my dream room will be a reality. Not to shabby for FREE.

On another note. I have been feeling so good lately stomach wise. My back is always there but my stomach has been so much better. The pain hasn't reared it's ugly head in over a week. I was so excited. I saw the Gastro. last Friday. I told him that the pains were coming far and few and he was thrilled. I had told him that I had steak last week and that I did fine. I did tell him I hadn't had chicken yet because it had caused me so much pain in the past month. He suggested, half kiddingly, that I might have developed some kind of food allergy and maybe that is what is causing my pain because medically they can't find a thing wrong with me.

Enter tonight.....I made the kids some really good chicken breasts with this awesome Lawry's marinade. The house smelled so good. I was starving and decided that since I don't remember the last pain's I was going to eat tonight. I had a 1/2 of piece of chicken breast with some green beans (which I have been eating with rice through this whole stomach mess) and within minutes I was doubled over in pain. It's the chicken. I can't eat it and I am totally bummed out. They didn't last the 4 hours that they were before but they were no doubt the same pains that put me in the hospital the night I ate Chicken soup and the same pains that knocked me out 3 weeks later when I ate some chicken.

I am bummed. I am not a huge meat eater to begin with. I rarely eat beef, a little pork...but it's so fattening I avoid it and I eat no seafood. So that leaves chicken. Now I can't have it. I am worried about Thanksgiving....what if I can't eat Turkey either? I have never heard of a person being allergic to chicken. Especially someone who ate it for 41 years and all of a sudden can't have it. I am going to try Organic Chicken and see if it helps. Maybe it's something the chickens are eating that I can't . I don't know.

Have any of you ever heard of such a thing? Do you know anyone who all of a sudden can't eat chicken? If so, please post me a message here or e-mail me. I am going to talk to my PCP and see if he's heard of anything like this.

It's just so bizarre and I have to say.......Only an "Amnott" would get something like this.

Faith is in a play tomorrow night. I am hoping to post a video of it by the weekend. Enjoy your weekend!!! It's the unofficial start of summer and I can't wait!

Cheers! Michelle
