Whoopee Cushions, Cowgirls and Zombies Oh MY!!!

Well another year, another Halloween. Everyone made it home safely and in one piece! Ray took the kids trick-or-treating. I stayed home and handed out candy for the few stragglers that make it down this way. My back was too bad for me to go with them. :( I had steroid injections done on Thursday. We are still waiting for them to work.

The kids made out like bandits. They got so much candy it borders on obscene. It will get donated...we have horrible dental insurance.

Enjoy the pictures. I will try to update again soon. I can't sit for long.

We carved these before the kids went out trick-or-treating!

National Grid could tap into this boy and make us all rich. He is the largest source of Natural Gas I have ever encountered. The Whoopee cushion was the perfect costume for him.

His first scary costume. He couldn't look at himself in a mirror though....he scared himself. God Bless this boy. He cracks me up. Ray kept telling people the dog ate him and he didn't get him medical attention!

Um ...yeah... she isn't allowed to leave the house much longer. I think her daddy is going to be the new Sheriff in town. I pity any boy who tries to date her. Between Ray, myself and her brothers...the poor kid doesn't stand a chance.

cost of Hat $4.00, cost of zombie costume $19.00 Look on Faith's Face: PRICELESS!

And Finally.... Brenden! It's the only day of the year he willingly lets me take his picture. He comes home every year after dressing at his friends house (and drinking way too much) to let me have a picture of him. He is Jim Carey's character Ace Ventura...Pet detective in the Spear scene. I spent 2 days spraying those pants gold for him and painting dots on them. You can barely see the spears but they are there and he looked so good!

So there it is. Halloween in Salem. I hate this holdiay but by the end of it I love it. I get great photos, a pot of candy and very, very happy children. It's what it's all about. Maybe next year my back won't dictate my life so much and I can go and see what the festivities are all about up town. Fourteen years living in Salem and I have yet to make it there on Halloween night.
