School's in Session....

and it makes me sad. I loved having them home. I loved not having set bedtimes. I loved not having schedules, I loved that there was no mandatory reading....just leisure reading, I loved that we weren't stressed by homework, I loved that it was dark until 8:30. I loved that we could hang out at the pool all day and not care. I loved that we could eat dinner at 7:30 at night. I loved not having to get up with the alarm and racing out the door to work and school. I loved it all. I loved having my kids all to myself for six glorious weeks. It was a great summer. I miss it already.

Eight long weeks until vacation. {sigh}
