The new Young HARRY POTTER!

As many of you know my from my previous posts I am reading the entire Harry Potter series to the boys. We are on book 4. We love the books. Love them. I look so forward to the end of the day and curling up in my bed with the boys and losing an hour to Hogwarts. I love it and so do they. Trevor is very into Harry Potter. He lives for anything Harry Potter. It's all he wanted for his birthday and I have to say since the 7th book was released it's really hard to find anything Harry Potter. Ray and I scoured every store we could think of. We even resorted to giving him an HP goody bag with HP glasses and some stickers and candy as a present this year that we found at IParty for $2 (actually we bought it for my mom to give to him). Anyhow, Nana had a wonderful idea and made this scarf for him and she was sweet enough to make one in Ravenclaw colors for Brycen! THANKS NANA! (Helen tell me which photo you want and I will e-mail it to you).

The child just cannot take a serious picture.

On a side note, Trevor had his physical today. He is growing well but has lost a pound since New Years Eve when he had strep and was weighed. He eats very little and has major texture issues. We have been referred to a speech/eating specialist. We will be having testing done soon. He has always had texture issues since he was a baby because he didn't get solids until much later than he should have due to milk protein and soy protein allergies. We had worked with Speech therapists before trying to overcome his gag reflex when he was younger but when he was 3 they discontinued services and at the time our insurance didn't cover it. He has made great strides since then, having his first piece of real meat at the age of 6 but he still can't handle lots of textures, which results in less food.

He also has an issue with one of his eyes. The Dr. said it can't focus when he asks him to stare at something. The Dr. can see it trying to but his eye never really stops moving so we will need to see and opthamologist soon too. Trevor is worried about wearing glasses but I told him he will look just like Harry Potter and he thought that might be kind of cool.

Other than that he is doing great! He grew a 2.5 inches since last year!!!
Ok, time to go read!

Have a great night everyone!
Love,
Michelle
