Can you say SLACKER?

Yes, I am slacking but the thing is....I really haven't. See I paid our Verizon bill when I was supposed and then 2 weeks later they shut off my internet. GASP! Do you have any idea how bad that was? Horrible. One day is pure torture for me. I never realized how dependent I am on the internet. What the hell did I do before it?

I use the internet all day long. I use it for e-mail (my favorite thing eva!), I google a million times a day, I read blogs and message boards and of course my job requires the internet. I am really lost without it.

So now that I am back online (my e-mail is still very messed up and they don't know why) I am so busy that I don't have time to update my blog much.

I am in the process of opening and ETSY store. I am having a blast making cards and mini scrapbooks to sell in it. I think it will be a lot of fun and hopefully give me a little play money to put aside for a MacBook. I so desperately need one for work and to keep things separate from the house computer.

We are hosting Christmas Eve this year so I am cleaning like a fiend when my back allows it. I was supposed to go in on Tuesday and have all the nerves burnt out of my back (painful and scary) but I put it off a week so that I could help Faith's class do a "hot cocoa stand" at school. It's a project for her math class. I think it will be really fun! She volunteered me because she says "my mom makes the best hot chocolate EVER!!!" That makes my heart happy. All the credit should go to the NesQuick rabbit though. I just heat milk and add chocolate. Easy Peasy...oh and a scoop of Marshmallow fluff. Better than marshmallows!

So that's it in a nutshell. I am crazy busy, very tired and getting ready for the procedure on my back. It's being done on the 15th. Lots of prayers would be so welcomed. I am scared to death. I am hoping to get an MRI of my hip before then because it hurts more than my back at this point and I am afraid to go through all that pain for nothing to find out it was my hip initially. It's such a mess.

Anyhow, we are alive, doing ok and just trying to make it from one day to the next. I hope you are enjoying your holiday prep!

Jingle all the way....
Michelle
