Can you believe it? My baby boy is TEN today. I stayed up just so I could post this on his birthday. :)
We are doing a mini birthday for him tomorrow morning before school, then Saturday I am hosting his party here with all his friends and we are going to play the game clue....but all our guests are our suspects. I made this for his invitation:

Ok, as like every year Trevor gets a special poem just for him. This years poem took me a while to think up but I did it....I am going to try to read it over the intercom at school tomorrow during announcement time! :) I am so evil. He will love it though! :)
Ps: This poem is exactly how it went with him the night I went into labor
So without further ado:
On this day 10 years ago,
there was a threat for lots of snow.
A mother’s craving could not wait,
for spicy Chinese chicken was what she craved
and therefore ate.
the family then traveled home to wait,
for the baby boy that was to be their fate.
the mom then tried to fall asleep,
but still in her belly that baby would not keep.
She went to take a shower and then....her back
seared with pain again and again.
And though the hour was so late,
She knew this baby would not wait.
The roads were icy and she did fear,
That this little boy was way to near.
To the hospital they did make,
her contractions at 1 minute..... and hard to take.
And before she could blink her eyes,
she heard the sound of her baby boy’s cries.
A mother’s heart was filled with love,
for the little boy sent from God above.
Today that boy is 10 years old,
he’s full of spunk, brawn and bold.
He makes his mother laugh and smile
and lets her reminisce a while.
About the boy she’s held so dear,
to her heart every year.
This boy has been the best thing ever,
He answers to the name of TREVOR!
And on this day she’d like to say.....
“I love you Trev! Have a wonderful day!”

Happy Birthday Trevor! I can't believe you are ten :) It seems like just yesterday you were 4 and singing "Cheeseburger and Paradise" to me in the office ;) Enjoy your party!
